Mayor's Walk for Youth

Children from our Beaver, Cub, Scout and Explorer sections are all taking part in the Mayor's Youth Charity Walk as part of Warwick District Scouts St. George's Day Celebrations on 22 April 2018.

This event will bring together local youth organisations with a choice of 2 routes: a 5k accessible route and a longer 10k route and our youngsters will be walking to raise money for 'The Mayor's Youth Charity' and our 'Building a Future Appeal'.

2nd Warwick Sea Scouts will be covering the nominal entry fee for all children, which goes towards The Mayor’s Youth Charity & all additional money raised will go towards our 'Building a Future' Appeal.

Our ‘Building a Future’ Appeal aims to build a sustainable future for the group enabling growth so that we can open our doors to more youngsters & better support our local community. This involves renovating our existing waterfront, building a new HQ & renovating our old hut into a new riverside boathouse.

We need to raise £30k by June 2018 for the first phase in this project – please help us towards this target!
