60th Anniversary Ball
Our fabulous fundraising ball raised over £8k !
The evening kicked off with an amazing performance by Rock Choir followed by a 3-course meal during which we shared our exciting plans for the next 60 years and our plans to build a new HQ.
A fun ‘Heads & Tails’ game, raffle and silent auction all helped boost funds on the night. The evening entertainment continued with a casino, photo booth and live music from 6-piece band Queen Bee.

CELEBRATING 60 YEARS OF SEA SCOUTING
"It was very special to share our 60th anniversary celebrations with past leaders, former members, current leaders and parents, and members of the local community. It was a great chance to also share our ambitious future plans. Our new Scout hut will enable more children to get involved and learn valuable life skills whilst providing a great new community resource in Warwick. It would be amazing if we could break ground during our anniversary year. The funds raised from the ball will get us a little closer to realising our dream."
Viv Bosworth, Chair of 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts
FORMER MEMBERS RETURN TO CELEBRATE
It was great to welcome back some of our former members and leaders to join us to celebrate their involvement with 2nd Warwick Sea Scouts.
Pictured in the photo are some former members (one of whom is now our Scout Leader) reminiscing over the flag used to indicate 'Tuck Shop open!' on our 2 week summer camps!
THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT
‘Thank you to all our sponsors tonight, in particular Lodders Solicitors, Warwick School Foundation and the Deeley Group as well as all the local companies and individuals who donated some amazing prizes for our raffle and auction. We were amazed the auction raised £2,500 on its own!’
Hazel Underwood, Ball Organiser
