Redirect to Volunteering Microsite

We have setup a volunteering micro-site to advertise the opportunities we have at the moment.
Why Should i Volunteer?
Scouting in the UK is growing at a rapid pace. However across the country there are nearly 35,00 on waiting lists unable to join simply because we don't have enough adult volunteers, this is true locally as well and we are short in several key areas.

There are many reasons for volunteering:

  • to give something back to the community
  • to meet new people
  • to develop your own skills and gain qualifications
  • to support the existing leaders
  • to be able to particpate in the adventure of Scouting yourself
  • to have fun!

Flexible Volunteering...

In Scouting you can give as much or as little time as you like. Not all roles are leadership roles either.
There are a wide range of roles that need to be filled, including leaders, section assistants and occasional assistants.
