For boys and girls between 6 and 8 years of age.

The Beaver Colony provides youngsters with their first experience of Scouting and opportunities to learn about themselves and their surroundings through a variety of activities, both in and out of doors.

The popularity of the Colony is demonstrated by a waiting list of over two years.

This Section is traditionally the most difficult to operate, needing a high degree of parental support to maintain adequate supervision ratios.
